What is the Healthy Sugar

Do not eat white sugar, if you want, eat some red sugar.

Many people have asked why they say to eat sugar.  Many people today think that sugar is a deadly food.  Have you heard a saying that a Sinhalese is a fool who eats cakes.  These did not just come.  In those days, the Sinhalese often ate cakes.  They are not just cakes either.  Cakes are kept for a long time by leaving them in honey.  So it’s time for sweets.  Most people think this is funny.  Find out how your grandparents survived diabetes.  They didn’t care much about it.

What happened today?  We are just trying to get diabetes under our control.  Now there is a way to decide the amount of insulin and inject yourself thinking that you have too much sugar.  Find out for yourself how many patients have become comatose.  Data about these are not published in Sri Lanka.  But there is enough data like this in America to accept western medicine head-on.  There is an atmosphere in that country where you can file a case against the FDA and win.  In our country, they are just dreams.  There is a doctor I know called Dr. Joel Wallach.  He has won eight cases against the FDA.  As a result of one such case, since last year, they have started adding the mineral Selenium to all food produced in America.  At those times, you can even talk about these things.  It is not easy in our country.  Although it is not related to the topic, a little bit was said about it because sugar is also a topic.

Sugar is a compound made from sugarcane extract.  In the production of sugar, the first thing we get is the brown sugar we know.  Now these need to be bleached using chemicals at additional expense.  We call it refining.  We think this is being cleaned.  It does not whiten.  Because white is the color most people like.  Brown color is not liked by many people.  One of the reasons why monks wear brown robes is because this color does not attract dirt.

When talking about colour, I remembered another story.  About 15 years ago, I went on a journey with a Lord named Mahamevina.  I was driving the car.  That Lord was sitting in the other seat in front.  Our route was behind Jayawardenepura University.  In between was a sculpture of a topless woman.  It was in the brown barn.  The monk asked me what would happen if you painted pink on that statue.  I was also completely upset when I heard that.  Can you imagine what colour can do?  It was said that there will be many rapes around here.  Anyway, that image is not there now.

This story fits our topic a bit.  We like white.  So the demand for it is high.  According to the economics I know, when the demand increases, the price increases.  But the demand for brown sugar is low.  And the cost is also low.  But the price is high.  A kilo of brown sugar in Singapore costs about 4 dollars.  White sugar is about 1.35.  Because this has happened.  Ask with intelligence.  Sometimes it makes sense.

We consume chemicals used to refine sugar every day.  Little by little we turn to illness.  Thus, there is one way to make a profit for some people in the world.  Sugar is a mafia today.  Joining that mafia with another mafia is not that much.  White sugar is one of the main ways to make you sick.  Otherwise, sugar will not make you sick.

Humans can eat six tablespoons of sugar a day.  But did you know that a 300 ml bottle of Coca-Cola has 8 tablespoons of sugar?  What will happen to someone who drinks these three bottles a day?  Even though the candies were made with natural honey, these sweet drinks do not contain sugar from sugarcane but high fructose corn syrup or sugar extracted from corn.  What’s wrong with that?  Last week I visited a factory in the Philippines that produces this HIGH FRUCTOSE corn syrup.  When I actually saw the chemical processes that are carried out, I thought that we are giving these to our children.  This HIGH FRUCTOSE corn syrup is also used to make topi.  Although they are called syrup, they are only 15% water.  A very concentrated solution.  Turning the bottle to the other side does not spill.  And it comes after being refined to the point where no color is lost.  Moreover, 85% of the corn in the world today is genetically modified.  So these are what we feed our children.  Is there any guarantee that the genes in the body of children are not mutated?  Who can be sure that it won’t cause your unborn baby’s genes to mutate?  To be sure, the drink you buy should be marked NON GMO on the bottle.  You can clearly see that it is not recorded as such.

Brown sugar or red sugar does not undergo this chemical process.  That’s why they said don’t eat white sugar, eat red sugar if you want.  The high tide has been discussed separately, so it will not be discussed here.  Let’s talk about the problems separately.

Sharing this knowledge can save someone else’s life.
